Liverpool will feel that they have the edge going into the second leg of the Champions league quarter final at home to Arsenal. They managed to force a draw at the Emirates, although Arsenal were the better side on the night.
Adebayor put Arsenal ahead after 23 minutes, but just three minutes later Kuyt grabbed an equaliser. He grabbed the arm of Hleb in the penalty area much later in the game, a certain penalty that was dismissed by the referee, leaving Arsenal furious with the official.
It was always going to be a close call between these two clubs, There is not much to choose really they have both reached the finals of this competition in the last couple of years, they have both played some great football this season.
At Anfield though it has to be Liverpool, although we said that in the FA cup against Barnsley!
