Arsenals pretty football dominated this game at the Emirates Stadium, with Portsmouth looking jaded in comparison to the side that played so well at Chelsea last week.
For the first half Portsmouth never got going and defensively left plenty of gaps for the quick movement of this superb Arsenal team. While Arsenals dominance was reflected in the scoreline at three nil, the sending off of Senderos looked like it may hand a life line to Pompey.
Redknaps response was to play with three forwards, a tactic which never really worked although Kanu did pull one back with a rather embarrassing mis hit.
Aresenal were as relentless and great to watch with ten men as they were with eleven. On this form,much better than last week against City, Arsenal are back in the game.
