I felt sorry for Spanish team Getafe last night, after they held Bayern Munich to one all draw in Germany in the first leg, they must have fancied their chances in the home tie.
They started well but were soon down to ten men, still they looked dangerous. They took the lead on the stroke of half time. Bayern ran them ragged for parts of the second half but Getafe still had chances and coped well defensively. Then Bayern struck in the 89th minute to force extra time.
Getafe who had played with ten men for much of the game suddenly found some energy and scored two cracking goals in extra time to lead the game 3-1.
With about five minutes to go Bayern scored and not much later scored their third to make it 3-3. Bayern go through despite being behind for most of the match!

I’ve said it before recetly but Getafe have been very impressive this season. They just seem to have a certain belief about them that they can achieve anything and overcome any team. I think on their day they probably can ad i expect to see even further improvements over the coming seasons.
