I thought it would be good to get readers opinions on the best and worst transfer signings by the so-called big four teams and their current managers, except in the case of Avram Grant as apart from adding a couple of players in the January window - most notably Nicolas Anelka, he has inherited the squad from Jose Mourinho.
So here is, what I believe to be the three best and worst signings by Alex Ferguson for Manchester United, Arsene Wenger for Arsenal, Rafael Benitez for Liverpool and Jose Mourinho for Chelsea. I must admit, once I started to think about the list, it was difficult choosing a final three, especially for the worst signings.
