Chelsea boss Avram Grant appears to be the man spending the money from the big four premiership clubs, halfway through the January transfer window.
Having secured the signing of Nicolas Anelka from Bolton last week, Grant appears to have been successful in getting his man from Lokomotiv Moscow, Branislav Ivanovic.
The 23 year old Serbian defender will cost Chelsea a reported £9 million. The player is currently discussing personal terms and is still to undergo a medical.

It seems the frogman is tring to stamp his own identity on chelsea by signing new players and aim to cover the increasing injury problems. How he is going to keep all his players happy is a mystery, i predict an exodus at the end of the season especially if the the frog man stays in charge.
