News just in that the Russian FA chiefs have given their approval to Chelsea’s plan of taking the Russian national coach to Stamford Bridge until the end of the season.
“We don’t see it as a problem, the timetable of the national team allows Guus to combine the two jobs.” says Russian FA director Alexei Sorokin, according to Reuters.
Hiddink is a personal friend of Chelsea owner Roman Ambramovich and had previously said if it was any other club enquiring he would have said ‘no.’
