Ferguson charged with improper conduct over Wiley remarks

John Williams - Monday 19.10.09, 13:52pm

It appears that the Football Association intends to make an example of  Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson following his remarks about referee Alan Wiley after the 2-2 draw with Sunderland at Old Trafford.
Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct and has until November 3rd to answer the charge. If he is found guilty he [...]

Rooney, Gerrard and Torres to miss this weekend’s Premier League games

John Williams - Friday 16.10.09, 14:21pm

Crouch and Agbonlahor to start for England as injuries take their toll

John Williams - Wednesday 14.10.09, 13:59pm

England will start the game against Belarus with the unusual strike partnership of Peter Crouch and Gabriel Agbonlahor as Fabio Capello switches to ‘plan b’ following the injuries to England regulars Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard.
Spurs’ Crouch has appeared for England on 34 occasions scoring 16 goals for the team, while Aston Villa’s Agbonlahor has [...]
