New Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has officially been unvieled by the club today. In his first press conference in his official capacity he confirmed that the trio of stars Eto’o, Deco and Ronaldinho would be leaving the club this summer.

Guardiola also said that his club would not be interested in hijacking Real Madrid’s attempt at signing Cristiano Ronaldo. While Giovani Dos Santos’s move to Tottenham will leave Barcelona short on the left wing, Guardiola said he “Wouldn’t make a space for him (Ronaldo) in the team, even though I think he is a very good player.”

“We will look at the possibility of bringing in a winger, but if we don’t that’s fine. The priority is a number nine.” said Guardiola, adding as a joke “We are looking for a number nine who scores 60 goals for us!”

Guardiola has no intentions of letting Thierry Henry leave, suggesting along with Bojan, and a new centre forward he would want the three players to feel like first team starters.

Deco has pleaded with Ronaldinho not to move to Manchester City, suggesting that he needs to be playing for a big club, “One that plays in the Champions League and aims to win it,” adding ” I would like Ronnie to play with me at Chelsea.”
