It is widely reported that Spurs striker Jermaine Defoe has been told that he is excess to requirements at White Hart Lane and is free to leave the club.
Bearing in mind how few games that Defoe starts for Tottenham you would think that he would have his bags packed ready to go. But perversely Defoe continues to show his loyalty to the club, saying that he doesn’t want to leave and wants to fight for a place in the Spurs attack.
I think he must believe that Berbatov will be leaving, but what if he doesn’t? Another half season as substitute isn’t going to help anyone.
What do you think? Should he stay or should he go.
