Ivory coast team mate and Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has fuelled speculation regarding a move to Spain for Didier Drogba.
Toure has told reporters on Spanish radio that he has talked to Drogba about the possibility of playing together at the Nou Camp.
“He would love to play for Barcelona, because we have a great team and great players” said Toure “But he knows it is complicated as Eto’o, Messi and Henry are already there.”
Strange that there is no mention of Ronaldinho?
Spanish TV reports this week say that under fire Barca manager, Frank Rijkard is set to make a 20 million bid for the Chelsea striker. Barcelona are losing the title race to rivals Real Madrid for the second season running and Rijkard’s position with the club has also come under threat. With Ronaldinho seemingly out of sorts and Henry looking way of his best form this summer could see some big action in the transfer market at the Nou Camp.
