Injury plagued Manchester United striker Louis Saha has agreed terms with Everton and will join the club subject to passing a medical.
Saha has been strongly linked with a move to Roy Keanes Sunderland over the summer, but Everton boss David Moyes has agreed an undisclosed fee for the striker, to bolster a squad that he described last week as being too thin on the ground for a season in the premier league.
Thirty year old Saha will join recent signings Lars Jacobsen, a free transfer from Nuremburg and Segundo Castillo on a year long loan from Red Star Belgrade, as new recruits at Goodison Park.
Moyes is still active in the transfer market with Nigerian striker Victor Obbina and Stephane Mbia among his targets before the transfer window closes at midnight on Sunday.
