FA Cup Final - Cardiff v Portsmouth

Terry Lane - Saturday 17.05.08, 13:36pm

At long last, an FA Cup final without one of the top four teams!

So who will win this year’s FA Cup, Cardiff City or Portsmouth?  Neither team have been in an FA Cup final for many years. Cardiff became the only non-English side to lift the trophy in 1927; and the last time Portsmouth won the FA Cup, in 1939, they kept hold of it for seven years!

As a neutral I will be hoping the game is exciting and would love to see plenty of goals.  5-4 to either team would be a great spectacle.  But it ain’t going to happen, is it?

I predict a 1-0 win for either team.  Bluesquare are offering the following odds:

Nwankwo Kanu to score & Portsmouth to win 1-0 at 25/1

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink to score & Cardiff City to win 1-0 at 50/1
