Barcelona really do have an awful habit of signing the most talented of young players. As if Ronaldhino, Deco and Etoo were not enough to contend with, they introduced the diminutive Lionel Messi to the world.
In the short time he has been playing, he has put himself in contention for the best player in the world, a title that i am sure he will win in the not distant future.
In Barcelonas pre season games however a new name was on the team sheet. Another eighteen year old with star quality written all over him. He is strong and powerful, a giant compared to Messi, but with quick feet and pace and an eye for goal.
Giovanni dos Santos, Is his name and he is already a world class player. He reminds me of Drogba with his wonderful first touch and turn, and he has that quality, at top level at just eighteen years old!
No wonder that the Premiership clubs are sniffing around then, as the players contract allegedly comes to an end in 2008.
