Newcastle’s third win on the trot got me wondering whether the Magpies Messiah, Kevin Keegan may have brought some of the circus to his latter position.

First there was the farce, just after appointing King Kev, the board immediatley gave him the custard pie in the face, by appointing the nearest they could find to the circus midget, little Dennis Wise as Director of Football or somesuch.

Then in true circus style came the boring acts from the bottom of the bill, interspersed with clowns and slapstick as Newcastle struggled to string two passes together. How we laughed.

Now we have the finale, the ‘leave ‘em with a smile on their faces’ bit. Newcastle are actually looking pretty good. Three straight wins and scoring ten goals in the last four games, with only two against.
