Now, I’m the first to admit betting is not big and it’s not clever; that is unless you win, of course.
After last weekend’s tip for you lucky readers to place a bet on Belarus beating Holland followed by today’s successful accumulator winning bet, I’m wondering if this should become a regular post on the Buzzin Football Blog.
Now before you get too excited, like most amateur punters, I lose more than I win. But when Manchester City scored the winner with the last kick of the game today, I admit to letting out a quick scream as well as a drip of pee!
My accumulator bet was wins for Manchester City (against Reading), Portsmouth (against Birmingham), Aston Villa (against Middlesborough), and Everton (against Sunderland). A £10 stake returned £141.99. It won’t change my lifestyle, but it has certainly warmed my cockles on this autumnal evening.
