Internazionale has finally confirmed that former Chelsea and Porto manager, Jose Mourinho has been officially appointed to succeed Robert Mancini as the new boss at Inter Milan.
Jose Mourinho has signed a three-year deal and will be unveiled by Internazionale at a press conference tomorrow morning at 10.3-AM
Mourinho has apparently been told there will be money to spend, and considering Mancini won three consecutive Serie A titles, I can only assume Mourinho’s objective will be to win the UEFA Champions League.
The official Inter Milan website states:
“The Portuguese coach has signed a three-year contract and will work alongside Rui Farias, Silvino and Andrei Villas Boas [...] The assistant coach will be Giuseppe Baresi.”
Farias, Silvino and Boas were all part of Jose Mourinho’s backroom staff at Chelsea, while Baresi is the head of the Italian team’s academy.
I’m sure talks have already been taking place but now we might get to hear officiaaly whether Frank Lampard & Didier Drogba are on their way to Inter Milan.
So, do you think Inter Milan can win the Champions League next season?
