Jurgen Klinsmann has been appointed as coach at Bayern Munich and will take over fromĀ Ottmar Hitzfeld who will be stepping down at the end of the season.
Former Germany coach, Klinsmann will be making his first move into club management after a season of being linked with every managerial vacancy that has appeared. The appointment will at least squash the current rumours in England that Klinsmann was being lined up to replace Rafael Benitez at Liverpool.
World cup winner Klinsmann who earned 108 caps playing for his country, and scored 47 times for the German national team, has previously been linked with Spurs and Chelsea and was an outsider for the England managers vacancy earlier this season.
