The earth has obviously moved for Younes Kaboul, the Tottenham defender seems well on his way to signing for Roy Keane’s Sunderland.
The players agent had said it would take an earthquake to get him to accept that move, so Roy Keane must be some salesman. Kaboul has a medical at Sunderland on Friday and the deal should be wrapped up then.
Teemu Tainio has already made the move from Tottenham in a deal that could see four players leaving White Hart Lane for the Stadium Of Light. Pascal Chimbonda looks set to follow which leaves Steed Melbranque, who has also held talks with Roy Keane and is expected to make a decision soon.
Spurs themselves have been linked to everyone this summer with current media interest being on David Bentley. Spurs are also alleged to have offered Berbatov to AC Milan for £25million, to stop him moving to Manchester United.
If that were true and the deals with Sunderland go through it would leave Spurs with a healthy £48million spending money.

Regardless of where Kaboul ends up, this whole saga just goes to show why Harry Redknapp should be officially reprimanded for broadcasting the affairs of not only his club (i.e. tapping up), but those of two others (Sunderland and Villa).
