There is a good article in the timesonline today, an interview with Graeme La Saux, the ex Chelsea and Southampton player. In the interview he tells how he was bullied by Graham Roberts at Stamford Bridge, and the general assumption, by many in the game, that he (la saux) was gay.
He goes on to say how David Beckham had called him a Poof or some such, and how he would have thought better of him, of all people.
But my favourite part is at the end of a training session, La Saux is chasing Zola in a 5 a side game. The ball crosses the touchline and La Saux gives up the chase,only for Zola to bend it in for the winning goal.
After the game he tells Zola, jokingly that he is a cheating little Sardinian git, and when he writes his book he will tell everyone what Zola is really like. So Zola says yes, i too will write a book and i will tell everyone how you look at me in the shower!
