It is now looking likely that the Laurel and Hardy type characters that own Liverpool FC will be staying around for a while. A report on the BBC Sport site reveals that Hicks and Gillett are likely to finalise a refinancing deal on Thursday.
The pair will also be unveiling revamped(cheaper?) plans for the new stadium, in an expected double edged announcement.
I cant see the Liverpool fans being too happy at the owners plans to stay on, but that’s looking more likely. Rafa Benitez wont be too happy about it either and I feel sure that he will be off at the end of the season.
