Everton have re-signed Jo on a season long loan from Manchester City. Jo spent five months on loan at Everton last season, making 12 appearances and scoring five goals. The 22 year old was signed for £18 million from CSKA Moscow, by Manchester City last summer.
City have also lost midfielder Gelsen Fernades, who has moved to French club St Etienne for an undisclosed fee. The 22 year old Swiss international joined City in 2007 from FC Sion, he made 59 appearances for the Eastlands team and scored four goals.
Also City have said that they are no longer pursuing Samuel Eto’o. The Barcelona player had allegedly been given an ultimatum-make your mind up in 24 hours or forget being the best paid player in the premier league. The 24hrs has passed and so has the offer.
