I heard Roberto Mancini is going to quit Inter Milan at the end of the season.
Mancini made his announcement shortly after Fernando Torres’ goal saw the Serie A leaders get knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Premier League Liverpool at the San Siro to seal a 3-0 aggregate defeat.
Club president Massimo Moratti must be wondering if anyone out there is interested to take on the role as Inter Milan manager in the summer. I’m sure Moratti has already begun to consider who would fit the role.
I’m guessing Inter will be looking for someone who is out of contract, so there is no compensation to pay; possibly a tactical genius who builds team success from a strong defensive framework, and someone who may have already suggested he would be looking for a top job in Serie A.
I wonder if Massimo Moratti is narrowing the shortlist down to certain nationalities? Portugese for instance.
