The Daily Mail reports that Spurs and Man United have joined Chelsea in the race to sign Barcelona wonder kid Giovani dos Santos. The three premier league clubs are said to have made substantial offers to Barcelona to secure the services of Giovani.

The precocious 18 year old Mexican attacking midfield player has a 20 million pounds release clause in his contract with the Spanish side, although it is believed that an initial fee of half that would possibly secure his services.

Such is the abundance of young talent at the Nou Camp, Giovani has found his path into the first team restricted this season. Having said that he is a regular squad member for Barcelona , and his introduction to games as substitute has often paid handsome dividends. He is a naturally gifted team player with a fantastic eye for goal, and at such a young age would be a perfect player for any of the teams reported to be showing an interest.
