After losing a non legally binding vote of no confidence earlier this week, Joan Laporta has managed to remain as Chairman of Barcelona CF, despite the resignations of eight of his board members.
Only five board members chose to support Laporta, including the club president Alfonso Castro, which may have helped his cause, I don’t know.
Surely it is now just a question of time before Laporta is either ousted or offers his resignation from the club where he has lost the backing of the supporters.
Laporta has said that he will submit his post to a vote, in two months time. Time to calm the troubled waters I imagine.
