Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has poured cold water on reports that Barcelona and Brazil midfielder Ronaldinho, is likely to join the club in the summer.
While the Blues have been constantly linked with the former World footballer of the year over the past two seasons, it seems that a move now would be out of the question.
Maybe the Chelsea board have learned a lesson from the Shevchenko transfer, parting with £30 million for a player who just doesn’t seem to be able to show any form in the Premier League and is now past his best.
While I wouldn’t say that Ronaldinho is past his best, he has struggled for form this year and has not been a regular in the Barcelona starting XI for most of the season. Rumours of a bust up with Frank Rijkaard early in the season may be partly to blame, but Barca have looked a better balanced team when the Brazilian is not playing.
This has led to speculation that he might leave the Nou Camp in the summer, although I wouldn’t put money on it.

Apparently Kevin Keegan and Newcastle are trying to get Ronaldhino to become a Geordie!
I think Ronaldhino will leave Barcelona in the summer but the destination will be Serie A.
