It was a pretty dire game at Old Trafford, Fergie will be chuffed to bits to have taken the points, with United so far this season, a shadow of last years team.
While its fair to say that Sunderland came to defend, United showed very little enterprise in the dangerous areas of the field. Sure they had the game by the scruff of the neck almost throughout, but it took the scruffiest of goals late on in the game to secure the points.
Man United will improve, thats for sure, but i felt that with Sunderland,that this is good as it gets. Experience in the top league will improve them eventually, but that may be too late.
